Unit 7 - How do you feel about peer review?
In Comp I, when I was told that we had to submit our draft to the discussion board for a peer review I was absolutely nervous! I had never had to open myself up to my fellow classmates like that before and the feeling of dread loomed up until I submitted it. After receiving feedback from classmates and the Professor, my whole attitude about peer review change. It was quite an enlightening experience with so much helpful constructive criticism that helped me write a better essay by the end of the term. I am looking forward to another round of very helpful feedback which will produce the same result as Comp I, by having my peers provided me insight from a reader's point of view on my writing.

Hi Diana, I can understand why you might be nervous having a one of your peers review your work. It is scary having to put yourself out there like that. As you discovered though it's really a good tool and you get alot of great comments and suggestions on how to improve your paper. We must remember that we are our own worst critic and that is why we get nervous about someone else looking at our work.
