Unit 10 - What advice would you now give to someone writing his/her first scientific paper?
First off, I would tell them to make sure that the topic they would like to research is of interest. It is important that you have passion for a topic as it reflects in your writing and gives you the drive to find great research. I have enjoyed my past nine weeks here in this class and wish all of you the best of luck in your educational journey.

Unit 9 - With your paper done or almost done, how do you feel?
Once my final paper is done I will feel very relieved. This has been a very interesting course as I am not a particularly big fan of researching and writing, but it is a very good skill to have and will benefit me in the future.

Unit 8 - Do you plan to continue with your blog even after the course?
At first I was not sure why were asked to make this blog site. But as the weeks have passed along I get the concept that Professor just wants us to be able to free write whatever is on our minds. As for continuing this blog site, I think that I will keep it up as time permits as a way of journally events in my life.

Unit 7 - How do you feel about peer review?
In Comp I, when I was told that we had to submit our draft to the discussion board for a peer review I was absolutely nervous! I had never had to open myself up to my fellow classmates like that before and the feeling of dread loomed up until I submitted it. After receiving feedback from classmates and the Professor, my whole attitude about peer review change. It was quite an enlightening experience with so much helpful constructive criticism that helped me write a better essay by the end of the term. I am looking forward to another round of very helpful feedback which will produce the same result as Comp I, by having my peers provided me insight from a reader's point of view on my writing.

Unit 6 - What I have been dealing with personally for the past six weeks?
These past six weeks have been a whirlwind for me. Trying to keep up with two jobs, school and trying to spend time with my brother and his family while they were in town. It becomes a struggle when you know that you have school deadlines that need to be met, but all you want to do is play.

Unit 5 Post
School has helped me be a more confident person. I have always been confident to some degree, but with each term my confidence level increases. It helps me when facing challenges during the work day in which I know I have the ability to deal with a situation in a professional manner.

Unit 4
Citing our sources for information that we incorporate into our essay is how we give the individual or organization credit for their work and ideas. When using others ideas and wording, if you do not credit them then you have just stolen from them. As an informer or persuader any information gathered is the hard work of others and they should be rightly acknowledged for their accomplishments.
